After the success of the International Rover Week in August 2011 at KISC, from the 27th December 2011 to the 2ndJanuary 2012, Rovering at the permanent Mini-Jamboree is going international again! After having experienced the Alps in Summer and sunshine, this time you will live a true winter experience in a snow and ice landscape. And although the temperature is going to be cool, the atmosphere is guaranteed to be warm and cosy!

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
As an international event, the New Year’s International Rover Week aims to bring together people, both individuals and groups, from different countries within Scouting and Guiding. During your stay you will be offered a wide range of Winter activities out in the snow-covered Swiss Alps.You can expect to have an individual, customized experience while practicing real team work with new found friends from all around the world.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
All Rovers, Rangers and Leaders, 18-30 years old, belonging to a National Scout Organisation recognized by WOSM or WAGGGS. You can participate individually or as a group. We keep the right to limit the amount of participants per country, if too many people from one country apply, in order to ensure the cultural diversity of the event. Please note as well that we can only organize the event if a minimum of 10 people take part!
